Vijay Viswanathan is Director of Research at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2007. He is the lead manager of the Mawer Canadian Equity Strategy. In addition, Mr. Viswanathan is a member of Mawer's Executive Team, which drives the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plans.

In November 2015, Mr. Viswanathan received the prestigious Domestic Equity Fund Manager of the Year award at the Morningstar Awards.

Mr. Viswanathan completed his MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business in April 2007, and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in 1998. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Calgary.
