Peter Lieu is a portfolio manager at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2021. Mr. Lieu is responsible for private equity research and managing relationships with private equity managers.

Previously, Mr. Lieu was the Chief Investment Officer for WealthCo Asset Management, where he was responsible for the Portfolio Management team. Prior to that, he managed the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund’s private equity, real estate, and infrastructure program. Mr. Lieu spent the first decade of his career in various roles with Alberta Investment Management Corp.

Mr. Lieu holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Calgary.
