Jorg Hampel is an equity analyst at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2009. Previously, he was an analyst at Macquarie Securities in London, U.K. where he performed fundamental research on European industrial goods companies. Prior to that, Mr. Hampel was an equity research associate at Fidelity International Ltd. in London where he also focused on European industrial companies.

Mr. Hampel earned his MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the International Capital Markets Association Centre at the University of Reading in 2005. He also received a BA (Honours) in Economics, with a concentration in financial economics from Carleton University in 2004. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with investment experience since 2005.
