Jim Hall is President and lead manager of the EAFE Large Cap Strategy at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 1997. Previously, Mr. Hall served as co-manager for the Mawer Canadian Equity Strategy from 1999-2020, the Mawer Global Equity Strategy from 2009-2020, the Mawer International Equity Strategy from 2010-2016, and as Chief Investment Officer from 2004-2018. He is a member of Mawer's Executive Team, which drives the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plans, and a member of the Board of Directors, which he first joined in 2000 and chaired from 2008 until 2023.

Mr. Hall is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with investment experience since 1994. He received the prestigious Domestic Equity Fund Manager of the Year award at the Morningstar Awards in 2010 and 2015. Before joining Mawer, Mr. Hall was employed by Wood Gundy Inc. in Vancouver from 1994-1997. He has a Master of Business Administration (University of British Columbia) and a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science (University of Toronto). He is a member of the CFA Society Calgary.
